NIGHT 1: happiness on the island

The residents of Wakananababoo, Hawaii were generally a happy bunch. They had moved there for rest and relaxation, fun in the sun, and to get deep, bronze tans. They enjoyed spending time together learning how to hula and eat fire. Their nights were spent on the beach telling stories about Easter egg hunts on Grandma's hill and those delicious buttermilk pancakes. They lived a good life.

There were four citizens, however, who dreamed of something more. These four dark souls were determined to open a tropical Six Flags on their island. They wanted money money money and tourists were the way to acheive this goal. They attempted to blackmail the mayor through secret notes sent in hollowed-out coconuts. The mayor would have none of their dark ways, and she refused their requests, much to their chagrin. They threatened to kill off the townspeople of Wakananababoo one by one until their wish was granted.

The mayor was hopeful, however. She knew the residents would discover the identities of these four troublemakers, with the help of two undercover detectives and two undercover doctors, they would catch the mafia and bring peace and happiness back the island.

It is now NIGHT. Those with night roles should email me by midnight tonight with their responses. I send the role emails later than I thought, so if we need one more day, I think that's fair. As stated before, this time there are 4 mafia, 2 detectives and 2 doctors.

Can each doctor save someone or do they have to agree on who to save?

i think each can save someone, or else it would be pointless to add an extra

Ok, I have had many questions asked via email, and I will answer them all now on here so you all can benefit from my wisdom and wonder.

    1. There is one more mafia member, which give the mafia an extra advantage...more of them to find and kill.

    2. There is also one more doctor, which give the townspeople an extra advantage. The doctors don't know who each other are, and they each send me a separate name. More of a chance to save someone.

    3. The detectives don't know who each other are and even if they find out, they are not allowed to speak to each other secretly.

    4. Yes, Merrit and Alexis are playing and yes, they are as likely as everyone else to have a role. Charlie is helping them play, so don't discount them.

    5. I hope you like the new Aloha Mafia style.

I believe that is all of the questions I've received in my email today. Now get cracking!

hey, i created a spreadsheet to help me subjectively grade others on their likelyhood of being mafia, and thought id share it with y'all... i think it's pretty self-explanatory, except that when grading players on their mafianess(?), each number to grade them must be between 0 and 20, and all numbers (townie, mafia, det., and dr.) must add up to 20, so if you are 100% sure of someone's identity, they get a 20 in that identity and a zero in everything else, and that will make their role off to the side change... also, as a side note, it's totally editable, and you can use it for other mafia games up to 40 ppl...

    Download spreadsheet

if you have any questions about how to use it, email me at rslnerd@gmail.com

I notice that Heather and Kurt didn't join us again. That makes me sad.

It's great to be playing again. I hope we can get the bad guys again!
