DAY 3: crushed into silence

It was morning, and after Kari's identity was discovered, a new hope hung in the air. The mayor, on her way the her office, passed by one of the mining shafts and noticed a pair of glasses on the ground. She picked them up and recognized them as Kurt's. After putting them in her pocket, she continued on.

She tried calling him from her office, but there was no answer. During lunchtime, she decided to meet him down at the mines. When she arrived she was told that he hadn't shown up that day. It was strange, too, seeing as how Kurt LOVED going to work in the mines, there was nothing he'd rather do! A search was started and it wasn't long before they found his broken body pinned underneath a large boulder in the back of the mining shaft. The mafia had done it again.

The remaining townspeople stopped working for the day and attended an emergency meeting. It was imperative to catch another mafia member today.

It is now DAY until Friday at midnight, tentatively. I may extend the day depending on how much input we get from the players. My parents are visiting Grandma this weekend and won't have easy access to the internet, they're visiting for Noah's blessing, which will probably keep Eric from playing much. Heather's grandma just passed away yesterday (please keep her in your prayers) and her and Kurt will be attending the funeral and other things which will keep her busy, as well. We'll just see how it goes. This day may extend through Saturday. As Kurt is now dead, he can no longer comment.
