NIGHT 3: thrown to the wolves

Being a mining town, the people of Sooty were extremely hard-working. They would work in the mines all day, go home to wash up, and then spend the rest of the evening with their families. They didn’t have time for many hobbies, but it was important for them to have an escape from the daily grind.

A couple years back the town decided it would be fun to open a zoo. There wasn’t much money to go around, so the men went out into the mountains and captured a pack of wolves, put them in a fenced-in field, and the Sooty Zoo officially opened. The wolves became their one and only exhibit.

After a long debate that day, the townspeople voted for Kari. She seemed an unlikely suspect: new mother, devoted wife, friendly neighbor. In the end, however, her own husband even turned against her.

She was sedated and given anesthesia, so as to not feel any pain, and released into the zoo. Hours later a can of Cobra Feed was found near her remains—the first mafia member was dead.
