NIGHT 5: a new monument for Sooty

The town quickly came to a decision to kill Sarah on that sunny spring day. So sure was the town of Sarah’s identity that Charlie, the town’s best artisan, was commissioned to build a monument in celebration of this wonderful, glorious occasion.

Charlie got to work right away, laying each brick, adding the mortar, and then decorating the brick with a blue and green tile mosaic. It was beautiful.

Before the top of the monument was sealed, Sarah was lowered inside. She was given a loaded gun, a syringe full of poison, and her favorite meal (at her request) of fried chicken, collard greens, and carrot cake.

Once inside, Charlie added on top the bust of Al Capone that he had sculpted from pink marble. As he laid the last brick Sarah peeked out and, with tears in her eyes, thanked the town for honoring her by having the world’s most famous gangster watch over her in death. She had only been trying to be like him.

It is now NIGHT. Those with night roles need to email me by midnight tonight. There is to be no communication on the blog, or otherwise.
