DAY 5: blanket of rain
It was a stormy Saturday morning. Rain drummed against the windows, thunder growled in the sky, and Sooty was still sleeping. The hardworking townspeople wanted as long of an escape as possible from their horrific reality. Their family members were dying.
A little ways out of town, however, the last remaining mafia member had been busy. Because of the thunder nobody heard the house explode in the middle of the night. Because of the sheets of rain nobody saw the flames as they were quickly extinguished. Because of the power outage nobody received Angela’s futile attempt at dialing 911 when she suspected someone outside, plotting her murder.
It is now DAY. There are 10 citizens left, you need 6 to convict. I’m sorry that Angela is dead, I could tell she was really enjoying this game. RIP Angela. This day will end on Sunday at midnight.

I just realized power outages don't cause the phones to stop working. Oh well, just go with it.
ok, looks like im the only 'frequent poster' left, and i'd like to lead us to an execution of a mafia member... not a huge shock that they killed angela; i wish she were still around, she had some good ideas... here's my take on who's mafia (again)

Let's look at who were the early voters for Sarah... Angela, then of all people Shirley!! That, in my opinion, dliminates her from mafia contention... Who else??? Heather also cast a key vote to kill Sarah... I think that she's gone from my list... Also, the final vote, to decide Sarah's fate was Deena's... She's not mafia... We're now down to:

And, we must decide which of these is mafia based on the votes for kari... Voting order for her is (eight are needed to convict): Jason, then me, then Angela, then Heather, then Kurt, then ERIC, then JAKE for the decidiung vote, then actually Sarah trying to look innocent... So of Eric and Jake, my take is that Eric looks a tad more suspicious... If it's neither of these two, the next two, in my opinion, that could be mafia, are Shirley and Heather... This last one is a toughie! Good job to whomever is the last mafia member... You've hidden well! (But we'll still find you)

Ooh, I just realized something else... Angela was actually probably the proponent of the 'Shirley is mafia' movement... I can see how Shirley might want her dead... That definitely moves Shirley into the first class of mafia suspicion with Jake and Eric... BTW, if you are the detective, and you know who is mafia, come out and tell us, b/c if we get him/her tonight, you won't die, so there's no risk... Whoever is the last detective, we need your help!!!

I don't think it is Shirley. Jason changed his mind and Sarah tried to rat her out at the end for no good reason. I think that I will vote for Eric per Jay's analysis. If someone else has a better reasoning my vote could be swayed.

I'm taking Jay's advise and exposing myself as the last detective. I know that Deena is the last mafia. We all need to vote to kill her and it will be over. Of course, you may want to just go on and not vote, but I don't think that would be a good idea. Especially since I'll be the next one the mafia kills and then the detectives are all gone. (I never knew that Angela had such bad feelings for me pent up inside of her all of these years).
Please avenge my death. Sorry to Jay for leaving.
